Shiny reddish wood with remnants of camwood; hair and headdress colored with indigo. Height: 26.8 cm (10.55″); Weight: 149.5 g (5.27 oz).

Rarity grade (Polo/David): Scarce.

Extremely unusual Ibeji figure of the Ijebu from Iperu, standing on a small, thin square base with rounded corners. The slanted feet are very short; legs also slanted; genitalia not accentuated; rounded shoulders; small, short hands with slightly concave backs; ears protruding at the top and attached at the bottom; receding chin; small mouth; long nose with broad tip; large semicircular eyes bordered all around; three vertical scarification marks on each cheek and on the forehead. The hair, styled upwards, supports an attached headdress hanging down and ending in a carved mask.
