Old Beautiful Large Coptic Cross – Shewa Region, Northen Ethiopia

Mid 20th century. Silver. Cm. 7,8 x cm. 5,7 (3.07 x 2.24 Inches); grams 25,6 (0.90 oz.). This cross is decorated on both sides.

Pendant crosses are received at baptism and worn around the neck as their owner’s most prized possession, a talisman and symbol of faith combined.
