Kaffa is a province of the southwest of Ethiopia its capital is Jimma. This province of the Oromia coffee region derives its fame “moka” of which we think that is native. The legend wants that a shepherd of Abyssinia noticed the toning effect up of this shurb on the goats which has consumed it. Its culture then spread to neighboring Saudi Arabia.
