Old Fine Mossi Fabric – Man’s Robe – Burkina Faso

Cotton. Fabric made from 3 strips sewn together. Cm. 150,0 high x cm. 106,0 width (59.06″ x 41.73″). Good general conditions.

Narrow strips of handwoven cotton are stitched together into a whole cloth, then dip dyed several times in indigo and embroidered. The indigo colour has aged gracefully and the cloth have a lovely, soft feel.

This fabric has been professionally washed.
