The Gurunsi are a group of culturally related peoples inhabiting northern Ghana and central–southern Burkina Faso.

Among the numerous ethnic sub‑groups associated with the Gurunsi are the Frafra, Nabt, and Talensi in Ghana, and the Ko, Lyele, Nuni, and Sisaala in Burkina Faso. The Kassena and Nankani live across both countries. Although these groups do not share a single language or centralized political structures, their social, economic, and religious practices display sufficient commonality for scholars to consider them a coherent cultural unit.
