Cast in brass using traditional techniques. The ring displays attractive wear and patina consistent with age and use.

A fine and unusual Baule brass ring from Côte d’Ivoire, featuring a stylized lion standing above a wide ring band. The animal is decorated with characteristic spiral motifs and linear engravings, giving the piece a strong sculptural quality. Such rings were not merely decorative ornaments but also expressed status, prestige, and cultural identity.
