Old Baule Amulet – Cote d’Ivoire / Ivory Coast

Wood, glass beads. The wooden amulet is cm. 8,1 width x cm. 5,3 high. The necklace is cm. 33,5 in lenght (20.08″). This amulet represents cartridges; it is believed to give protection and power. Quite rare item.

The Baule are an Akan people and one of the largest groups in Côte d’Ivoire who historically migrated from Ghana.
