Early to mid 20th century. Twisted brass and copper with a iron bead on the top. Diameter max cm. 7,9 (3.11″); grams 289,0 (10.19 oz.).

These bracelets were not meant to be worn, but to cure illness, especially rheumatism and arthritis.

Gurma is an ethnic group living mainly in northeastern Ghana, Burkina Faso, around Fada N’Gourma, and also in northern areas of Togo and Benin, as well as southwestern Niger.
