Old African Currency – Kirdi – TUPURI / BOUSOULI – Cameroon / Chad

Early to mid 20th century. Iron. Cm. 19,2  width x cm. 25,0 high (7.56 x 9.84 Inches); grams 368,0 (12.98 oz.). 

A wrought iron corde bar with the ends raised in fan-shape. A typical woman’s ornament  used in northern Cameroon and in Chad.
