Old Short Sword – Boa Tribe – DR Congo

Early 20th century. Iron, wood. Cm. 56,5 in length (22.24″); weight: grams 330,8 (11.67 oz.).

Very good general condition only a crack on the wooden handle, but the blade it’s very solid.

The Baboa people (singular Boa) are an ethnic group in the Democratic Republic of the Congo. They live in the savanna region in the north of the Democratic Republic of the Congo. They are in close contact with the Mangbetu and Zande peoples.
